Mark G. Heike
Mark G. Heike worked as a freelancer in the 80's at AC and then became part of the editorial staff as an Associate Editor in 1990.
Starting out in fanzines in the 70's, he got his early break at Charlton Comics in 1981. His comics work for Americomics (later known as AC)
in the 1980's included Miss Victory (later Ms. Victory)and Nightveil, the mystic sorceress.
After a few years away from comics working in the architectural field, he moved to Florida in 1990 and began working for AC full time.
He married his wife Stephanieafter a long term business correspondence.
For AC Comics, Mark has written, pencilled and inked a huge number of the AC books, notably Femforce,(since Femforce Special #1 in 1984, in fact)
one of the longest running independent comic book series in the world.

He has also worked on AC's Golden Age series and westerns.
Mark also does commercial work including Fabulous Fun Comics starring Roy Rogers for Hardee's, which won an Addie Award in 1990!
Mark works for other publishers occasionally in addition to his regular position as an Editor at AC Comics.
