21st Centurions #1 is the first issue of an all new color series from Centurion Premiere out in May previews/July shipping. 32 pages in full color for $3.95 continuing the story from the preview issue zero.

It's about the adventures of six kids who are given gadgets that allow them to simulate powers, which they in turn use to keep the world safe from evil. They are led by their mentor, a former Golden Age style costumed adventurer.

Issue one is a self-contained adventure featuring two of the girls, Ariel and Donna getting into trouble and a background subplot over the first three issues that deals with the daughter of a couple of villains setting up a revenge plot.

"There is an overall continuity running through the books-- a twenty issue finite storyline --a roadmap really--I know where I want to go--but how the story gets there is pretty open. You don't have to have read any previous issues to know what's going on with the feature story each issue, but you'll have a better idea of the big picture." "It's going to get a little darker and scarier like a rollercoaster as we explore the world these characters are in and the mysteries of exactly what's going on with the older heroes."

"The zero one-shot, (also 32 pages full color) which came out December 2003, was mostly a set-up for the main series. I explain/set up a lot of things about their world which I felt would be too expository in a book (that's supposed to be, at least) about a group of new heroes in their teens. "
