Stephanie Sanderson Heike

Stephanie Heike is a female comic book artist, writer and publisher

Steph has been working as a professional comic book artist and has freelanced for various companies in the comics field since 1988, including pencilling on features like the Atomic Sub and Venus for Big Bang Comics at Image Comics in the 90's as Stephanie Sanderson.

Steph has been freelancing for AC Comics since 1991, first as a penciller on books like Cat-Man, All Hero Retro Comics, and Big 'Uns. After a long term business correspondence, she married her charming husband, Mark in 2000.

She has been writing, pencilling, inking, lettering books for AC and coloring covers on books like Femforce, Garganta's Thrilling Science, Miss Masque and Fighting Yank and the Sentinels of America. She also set up AC's comic web shop and does a lot of behind the scenes production. She is currently letterer and now an assistant editor on the AC books. Writing a couple of new FF stories for 2008.

She also does freelance creative and production work for various publishers includes Archie Comics, Penny Farthing Press, Top Cow and Chaos Comics. She has even worked on a webcomic, lettering and coloring an installment of Quickshot for Dario Carrasco 's Rapid Comix.

She also does designs for various other products and media such as t-shirts and toy packaging.

Her and her husband are proud to have worked on the Calgary Stampede comic for the world famous Calgary Stampede in 2006.

21st CENTURIONS| is Steph's as writer, penciller, letterer, colorist and publisher--everything but the inks--color superhero comic book series since 2003. 21st Centurions #2 shipped through Diamond to retailers in 2006 and she is now working on issue #3 of 21st Centurions for 2008.
